BRUNCH ABOUT IT!

Every Louisvillian knows that this city just can't get enough of brunch places!  From outdoor patios to make-your-own mimosa bars, there is something so charming about this tradition that has us declaring brunch as the most important meal of your wedding days.

LW loves the idea of a brunch restaurant that can be accommodating to larger groups for a bridal bruncheon the week or even morning of the wedding.  Such a lovely way to come together with the important ladies in your life and get the week/weekend started.  This can also a great time to show some appreciation to the women in your life who have supported you through your relationship with your fiancé.  Just imagine laughing and telling stories of playing "Here Come the Bride" as a child or the night you called your bestie up after your first date with the person you are soon to marry over mimosas and without the stress of gifts or bridal shower games.

Here are some of our favorite Louisville locations for a bridal bruncheon (in no particular order):

Le Moo

The Village Anchor

Selena's at Willow Lake Tavern

LouVino Restaurant & Wine Bar

211 Clover Lane

Brasserie Provence

8UP Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen

Proof on Main

Mesh

These are some of our favorite locations for a group brunch the morning after the wedding (in no particular order):

The Silver Dollar

Butchertown Grocery

Garage Bar on Market

The Bristol Bar & Grille

J. Graham's Cafe at The Brown Hotel

The Porch Kitchen & Bar at Louisville Marriott Downtown

Walker's Exchange at The Galt House Hotel

Gatsby's on Fourth at The Seelbach Hilton

Don't rule out the possibility of having the whole wedding as a brunch affair!  A daytime event can save you money and make you stand out from the rest of your friends getting married. Lawn games and a small 4 piece jazz or bluegrass band can accompany a fun, lighthearted menu that may not have been appropriate for a dinner reception.  A doughnut or macaron wedding cake, an ice cream bar or popsicle stand, food trucks, chef attended omelet or waffle stations, and mini versions of brunch favorites butler passed to your guests will leave people talking about your brunch wedding abounding with southern charm.

Many local caterers can bring this vision to life at one of our favorite venues to host a brunch wedding (in no particular order):

Whitehall House & Gardens

Farmington Historic Home

Peterson-Dumesnil House

The Pointe

Hermitage Farm

Conrad-Caldwell House

Yew Dell Gardens

Garden Court

Gardens at Ray Eden

Old Blue Ribbon Farm
